ICFF gets ready to celebrate its 29th year

Published on : Friday, September 28, 2018

ICFF, North America’s largest platform for high-end contemporary furniture and luxury interiors, is set to return for its 29th edition from May 21 to 24, 2017 at the Jacob K. Javits Center in New York City. Registration is now open for the 2017 show, which will bring together design community leaders from around the world to engage, connect and be inspired.

New for 2017, ICFF NYC will take place all on one level of an expanded show floor. The show will once again connect members of the interior design trade to industy influencers, leading brands, top design focused media and emerging talent through a series of educational programs, including CEU accredited sessions, and the always well received ICFF Talks program.

ICFF Studio will return to ICFF NYC. The annual collaboration with Bernhardt Design provides a platform for undiscovered design professionals to engage with the global design community and showcase new prototypes. Also returning is ICFF Schools, a recognition of ideas and talent emerging from top design schools.

Kevin O’Keefe, ICFF event director, says, “As we celebrate nearly 30 years of ICFF, 2017 is gearing up to be our biggest and best year yet. I’m excited about each new program planned for 2017, as well as welcoming back the veteran programs that our community loves to experience each year. We’re looking forward to a great show and to reconnecting with our ICFF community this May.”

ICFF NYC will once again be the cornerstone event of NYCxDESIGN. Hosted in New York City, NYCxDESIGN brings together all disciplines of design, commerce, culture, education and entertainment with a full, varied program including exhibitions, installations, trade shows, talks, launches and open studios. NYCxDESIGN 2017 will take place May 3 to 24, 2017.

The annual NYCxDESIGN Awards will be presented at the Museum of Modern Art on May 20. The awards ceremony will once again be followed by the highly anticipated ICFF MoMA opening night reception.
