Williams-Sonoma’s retail brand Pottery Barn Kids has launched a home décor collection with Minecraft, a video game series from Microsoft and Mojang.
The collection, which includes 30 pieces of bedding, home furnishings, decor and accessories, is full of references to Minecraft’s game play, pixelated imagery and lead characters like Steve, Alex and the Pig.
“There is such a strong brand synergy between Pottery Barn Kids and Minecraft,” said Allison Spampanato, senior vice president of product development for Pottery Barn Kids. “Minecraft encourages players to follow their own path by creating an open-ended gaming experience as unique as the players themselves. Always believing that a child’s bedroom should spark creativity, Pottery Barn Kids designed a special collection where every child is empowered to imagine and explore.” Allison added further.
Standout piece from the collection include the Minecraft Pixel Anywhere Beanbag, a watercolor character sheet set and shaped character accent pillows.
