KUKA HOME, one of the world’s largest producers of upholstered furniture, will expand its Mediterranean, Modern, Contemporary, Casual Motion, and Accent Seating Categories at the Las Vegas Market from January 29 – February 2, 2023. They will also refresh several core frames with new covers and additional configurations.
A one-stop-shop for all upholstery needs, KUKA HOME offers design-oriented stationary and accent seating, functional and stylish motion furniture, upholstered beds, dining chairs, ottomans, barstools, and mattresses. The company continues to leverage its global manufacturing footprint in Mexico, Vietnam, and China. Like in High Point, the company will commit additional showroom space to the Mexico-produced assortment with new motion models and introduce a sustainable performance fabric line. “These fabrics meet customer needs for cleanability and durability and their desire for eco-friendly goods,” said Matt Harrison, KUKA HOME president. “We are exploring eco-friendly materials to integrate into our line,” he said. “We also are introducing a new motion collection out of Mexico with sleek modern designs – offering the look of stationary, with motion functionality.” The company will continue to expand its product offerings when the new manufacturing campus and R&D center open in Monterrey, Mexico.
“Our Mediterranean Collection will be at the front and center of our showroom with a new curvaceous modular group with a full-bodied plush design inspired by river rock shapes,” Sergio Barrios, Senior VP of Merchandising and Product Development, said. “Its’ modular design allows each piece to be configured to customer needs. We will continue to show this collection’s rattan elements and natural wood accents that were well received at October Market,” he said.
“In the Modern and Contemporary style categories, we will continue to show several fully upholstered, trendy frames that have seen success. Contemporary is KUKA HOME’s signature style. We have refreshed this category with new luxurious covers”, said Barrios.
Since casual motion frames remain extremely popular in the market, KUKA HOME is introducing a new armless recliner that can stand alone or be configurated with additional pieces to create a sofa or sectional of any scale. The company emphasizes oversized comfort, modular lounge seating with feather-fiber cushions, and a modern aesthetic in both stationary and motion frames.
