Bowles Mattress Co. welcomes Angela Dunaway as the new vice president of human resources and administration. Dunaway will now join the new position responsibly and function closely with the leadership team. Before joining the company full time, Dunaway worked with the company as a senior human resources consultant in 2019.
“Angela is a leader and change agent with 20-plus years of experience in HR consulting and corporate HR leadership roles,” said Scott Armstrong, president of Bowles Mattress. “Her experience includes HR services for a broad range of issues to clients in industries such as government contracting, aerospace and defense, energy, healthcare, technology, retail, automotive, manufacturing, downtown revitalization, home building, engineering and more.”
Dunaway has served as board president of the Society for Human Resources Management chapters in Owensboro, Ky., and Huntsville, Ala. She also served on boards for the Boulware Homeless Mission and the i3 Cares Foundation. In addition, she has volunteered with the NWA Network for Executive Woman, The Care Center, Women in Networking, Junior Achievement, The Manna House, and the Key Point Church Baton Rouge Flood Relief Team. She is a member of the Louisville SHRM chapter.
