Fabricut expands reach with new rug line

Decorative fabric producer Fabricut is introducing an extensive area rug collection in multiple styles and colors, part of a company expansion to become a whole home source. “As a company firmly rooted in textiles, we have a passion for weaving,” Design Director Millie Hammond said. “Rugs were a natural progression for our growth; we have worked to select and design rugs that complement and support our fabrics, trimmings and wallcoverings. Our loyal customers now have the same service and ease of ordering we offer for the whole home.”

The Luxe line of elegant and richly textured designs includes Gatsby (An Art Deco-inspired diamond pattern), Murmur (a combination of silk-like pile and cotton loops with a multidimensional, broken-strip effect), Octavian (a classical geometric inspired by traditional tiles) and Dew Drops (featuring an irregular pattern of raised droplets on a matte and visibly hand-knotted background).

The Natural collection offers dimensional textures, designs and hues. In the collection are Bailey (a soft flatweave with metallic accents), Dharma (inspired by a vintage Persian carpet with a rich pile in soft, tone-on-tone colors) and Whittle (a “foundation” rug that creates all-over texture with a mix of sheen and matte yarn in a heathered appearance).

The Modern collection makes an artistic statement with geometric and abstract patterns. It includes Abstruse (a multicolored abstract pattern), Vacillate (a low loop, high-pile design with concentric lines), Grifter (featuring contemporary broken lines; it is made from 100% polyester but has the look of heathered wool) and Perry (a two-toned thick wool pile).
