KnollTextiles presents the Bonjour Collection

Published on : Saturday, September 29, 2018

A Paris inspired hospitality focused collection, Bonjour includes 4 upholsteries, a wide width blackout drapery and 2 woven wallcoverings.

KnollTextiles Creative Director, Dorothy Cosonas says, “Bonjour was a wonderful opportunity to kick off the year with impactful upholsteries, a budget friendly performance velvet and our first black out drapery while continuing to add to our line of classic woven wallcoverings. Our palette evolved in this collection, expanding the selection of jewel tones and fashion driven colors. The convergence of beauty and performance makes Bonjour equally appropriate for hospitality, corporate or residential interiors.”

Upholstery:

Bold, graphic and architectural, pattern Arrondissement led the Parisian thought for the collection. The design is reminiscent of the geometric division of the 20 neighborhoods, or Arrondissements, in the city of Paris. Two layers of embroidery create a large-scale graphic and architectural allover design on a striated ground that was woven to KnollTextiles’ specifications.

Seurat, named after the French post-Impressionist painter Georges-Pierre Seurat, evokes his pointillist aesthetic. This tri-colored textural upholstery has a mixture of thick and thin novelty yarn in the warp giving Seurat dimension and depth, while the warp set up allows for clarity of color. The wool/cotton blend creates a dry hand.

Oh La La is 100% polyester velvet with a dry hand and slight sheen. The tight dense wave of Oh La La shows little mark off on the face of the fabric. It comes in 14 trend colors, 100,000 plus Double Rubs, stain repellent and a kiss-coat backing.

Woodland
, with its combination of allover pattern on a neutral ground plus superior performance, was an immediate success when the first 8 colors launched in 2016. KnollTextiles has added an additional 6 colors (14 in total) of this bleach cleanable chenille. Woodland is a great choice for every market.

Drapery:

Bon Nuit is KnollTextiles’ first true 3-pass blackout drapery. What makes Bon Nuit so special is the beautiful sueded finish and superior drape-ability. This wide width drapery is inherently flame resistant and IMO certified. Bon Nuit is stocked in 15 standard colors with additional colors available for a 1 yard minimum order. For added je ne sais quoi, Bon Nuit may be digitally printed with any pattern or color through KnollTextiles’ Customs Department.

Wallcovering & Wrapped Panel:

The ‘Grands Boulevards’ in Paris are considered the finest avenues to stroll the city. KnollTextiles’ Grand Boulevard is equally distinguished. Woven with space dyed yarns on different sized cones on a planted warp, Grand Boulevard has allover texture and variation throughout. Subtle vertical striations create a horsehair-like appearance. The specialized warp set up on Grand Boulevard makes it a truly unique offering in the market. The palette is a restrained mix of warm and cool neutrals with earthy saturated options. Grand Boulevard is appropriate for both direct glue and wrapped panel applications.

Arena is a classic woven wallcovering in a timeless palette of warm and cool neutrals for direct glue and wrapped panel applications. The use of novelty yarns in both warp and weft directions gives Arena texture, movement and subtle color play. Arena is bleach cleanable and finished with Crypton incase for stain resistance.
