Mattress, sleep accessories and home furnishings supplier Malouf has updated its website to better showcase its growing focus beyond the mattresses, emphasizing the consumer shopping experience and helping educate consumers on product benefits.
“Our company has grown from sleep accessories to whole home solutions, and we wanted the website to reflect that change,” said Scott Carr, Malouf marketing director. “Shopping trends now heavily rely on online research before in-person shopping, and we wanted to ensure we have the best online presence to capture consumer interest and reinforce value.”
In addition to optimizing the user experience, the company enhanced the look, feel and features of the site with new product information and photos. Additions to the website include a shop the room feature that allows consumers to click on products featured in the room scene; an education section on each product page that highlights features and benefits; and a pillow tutorial section to help consumers find the right pillow.
“Another reason it was time to update was to ensure the same standards of tech and innovation exist on our websites that exist in our new product launches, on par for where our future is going,” Carr said.
