Malouf named as one Utah’s Fastest-Growing Companies

Recently, Malouf was named to the FAST 50, a list of Utah’s fastest-growing business. The past year marked a period of remarkable growth for the company, which added 150 employees and more than 600,000 square feet of operating warehouse space in the past two years.

Malouf and other companies named to the FAST 50 list earned the recognition at a luncheon event on August 29 at the Grand America Hotel in Salt Lake City.

CEO Sam Malouf said, “I think this is the result of having a great work culture and a team of positive, energetic people. I’m amazed by the good people I work with every day and the great ideas they come up with to meet the challenges that lead to growth. We achieved some high-level goals this past year, but none of that would be possible if we didn’t like each other and love what we do.”

Sam Malouf said the company embraces growth because it positively impacts the quality and efficiency with which it can deliver products to their retail partners, broadens the benefits it can provide employees, and expands the ability to give back through the Malouf Foundation.

Sales growth prompted the formation of the foundation in 2016, and it continues to fuel charitable initiatives including a pillow donation to every child in the Utah Foster Care system, support for the local shelter to ensure no person escaping domestic abuse is turned away, and a new partnership with Operation Underground Railroad to provide comfort to those children rescued from sex trafficking through the donation of bedding products and other items to aftercare centers.

Sam Malouf added, “Through our giving initiatives, we give greater meaning to our work, and we have found a greater vision and purpose for the company. We know that the better we do on the business side, the more we can donate, volunteer and support those in need.”
