Maxwood Furniture, the manufacturer of youth and master bedroom furniture, is launching two new solid wood lines.
This includes KD case pieces at the upcoming High Point Market, October 16 to 20.
The new Core and Modern lines include twin beds, bunk beds, desks and other case pieces, with FOB VN pricing starting at $41 for a desk.
Anne Jensen, Chief Marketing Officer said that there is opportunity in lower price points post pandemic. The company leveraged new capabilities in finishes and materials.
She also mentioned about their scale in purchasing to give best in class quality and value with their new collections.
In addition to the new lines, Maxwood is introducing new products in existing collections as well as new container-direct export products.
This according to Jensen is extremely sharp price points.
The new lines and products are made possible and supported by Maxwood’s new 600,000 sq. ft. factory that it opened earlier this year, tripling its production capacity.
The company also launched a B2B website providing access to inventory information, in addition to quick and easy ordering.
The new facility has allowed Maxwood to keep its existing products moving, as well as managing shipping costs by developing new lines that ship in single, smaller boxes. Peter Schlünssen Global Sales Manager said that they feel lucky to have experienced limited interruptions in factory or warehouse operations.
