Moe’s Home Collection – renowned for full-line furniture resource inaugurated their latest store in Seattle on September 4. The 5,500-square-foot store will be considered its flagship location in the U.S.
The company also has a company-operated flagship that in Vancouver that is much larger at around 40,000 square feet. However, this will be its first company operated flagship location in the U.S.
The company also has franchise retail locations in nearby Bellevue, Wash., in Sioux Falls, S.D. and in Anchorage, Alaska.
“Moe’s Home is humbly excited and proud to be bringing history back full circle with its wide range of furnishings and décor,” the company said.
Located at 1023 1st Ave. in downtown Seattle, the new store is in a building that is the same site of the prominent Z.C. Miles & Piper Co., a former home furnishings store that opened in 1870 and was in business there for a number of years. Today the site of that building lists on the National Register of Historic Places and Seattle City Landmarks.
