After consultation with leaders and partners within the commercial design industry, theMART has decided cancelling NeoCon 2020 is the best course of action considering the on-going COVID-19 outbreak and the unknown duration for social distancing and other measures. The next NeoCon will be NeoCon June 14-16, 2021.
NeoCon has thanked all its participants for their loyalty and support, and mentioned “we look forward to bringing the commercial design community back together in Chicago for NeoCon 2021.” In the wake of the present situation the world is taking measures to fight back and protect its population. In such a situation NeoCon decided to cancel the show this year. They aimed at permanently discouraging gathering in any form. Hence, the trade fair will now happen in 2021.
The exhibitors will hence bring their unique collection to the market next year. According to several sources the world economy will need serious attention once the outbreak is controlled. Evaluating the fiscal and business potential of the market, the organisers decided to permanently cancel the show this year.
