Outdoor furniture source Pavilion recently introduced its latest outdoor collection, Palmera. Inspired by contour of a hammock and of sunlight filtering through palm trees, the new collection includes dining chairs, lounge chairs, rocking chairs, and complementary dining and occasional tables.
Palmera is the first collaboration for Stark Scott Studio, which includes Kevin Stark, an award-winning furniture designer with background in the contract furniture industry, and Lauren Stark and Phillip Scott, two Chicago based architects working on commercial buildings.
Stark’s goal was to create a signature collection of outdoor furniture for Pavilion that offers a suspended, kinetic feeling. The result is the sculptural, wireframe seat that appears suspended from its continuous-line frame, coupled with a contoured cushion that enhances the leisurely comfort.
Designed for demanding environments, Palmera brings contract-grade quality with an appealing residential aesthetic to outdoor dining and lounge spaces.
