Pine & South offers WFH furniture with design aesthetic

The goal for new direct-to-consumer site Pine & South is to change the aesthetics and functionality of the at-home office by offering stylish and quality furniture.

“With the line between work and home being much more blurred than ever, we saw a major gap that existed for quality-made, design-driven home and office furniture that could be delivered directly to the consumer,” said Peter Gaslow, CEO of Pine & South.

“The products on Pine & South were carefully chosen and curated for the way we work and live now, designed to enhance and facilitate efficiency in a comfortable, flexible, multipurpose and stylish setting,” he added.

Gaslow said Pine & South is designed to provide solutions for modern day work-from-home practices by bringing together commercial and residential brands with a modern aesthetic.

Founded on the corner of Pine and South streets in New York City, the company said its new contemporary brand lives at the intersection of work and home and allows consumers to shop from a selection of quality-made furniture.

Pine & South has partnered with residential manufacturers, including Vitra, Carl Hansen and Son, Hem and Fredericia, in addition to commercial brands such as Stylex, HBF, Darran, Global and Heartwork.

The new DTC-site offers pieces ranging from desks, office chairs, and storage units, to coffee tables, dining tables and sofas. All pieces on the website are now available to be shipped throughout the U.S.
