Sherwood Bedding extends their business

Sherwood Bedding recently announced its’ business expansion to support long-term growth opportunities. Sherwood will open a new plant in 2021 and expand an existing facility in Orlando starting later this year and will significantly expand its employee workforce.

The company, a leading manufacturer in the U.S. private-label/original equipment manufacturer segment, also announced an expanded sales management team, including four new vice president posts to support current and new customers.

Mark Quinn, co-founder of the Spink & Co. bedding brand in the U.S, recently joined the Sherwood Bedding leadership team as the vice president of sales, key accounts and marketing. Quinn previously worked in sales management, key account development and marketing positions in the industry. Sherwood executives Patrick O’Brien and Tim Riezinger were recently promoted to the roles of vice president of sales, national accounts and vice president of sales-East, respectively. Both have significant expertise in private label manufacturing and OEM work.

Sherwood is actively searching to fill the newly created vice president of sales–West position.

The company said it will be increasing production capacity by 60% through the existing Orlando facility starting in the fourth quarter of 2020 and is planning to open a new fifth facility in the Northeast U.S. early 2021, hiring more than 200 new plant workers.
