Standard Furniture announces its relocation of Magnolia Home

Case goods and upholstery resource Standard Furniture announced that it is relocating its Magnolia Home by Joanna Gaines showroom from High Point to Waco, Texas, the home town of Joanna and Chip Gaines.

This marks the first major shift in location for Magnolia Home since it debuted as a division of Standard in about 15,000 square feet of space in the space H-744 of the International Home Furnishings Center in October 2015.

“Waco is the nucleus of the Magnolia brand, so this feels like a normal shift for us,” said Tim Ussery, President of Standard Furniture. “Last year, more than two million people traveled to Waco to experience what Chip and Joanna Gaines have created, and I believe this decision will only help enhance that experience. We are excited by Joanna’s vision for the future of this line.” Tim added further.

The company said that despite the shift, the Magnolia Home by Joanna Gaines showroom inside Standard’s Bay Minette, Ala. headquarters will remain “open and active.”

The company added that this move only impacts the Magnolia Home by Joanna Gaines market presence for Standard Furniture. The rugs, pillow and throws produced by Loloi will continue to be shown at the High Point Market at the Loloi Rugs showroom in space D-320 of the IHFC.
